While googling Perilla seeds; Wow! Your order just arrived. I was trying to figure out what the bonus purple hirsutum was before reading the red label "Tomato". Anyway, it was a perfect choice! Flavor (and is it small enough to ripen in Seattle) is number one while uniform size is not important to me. Thank you!

butteryfly gardening; Hi, we seeded about 80 jugs last fall, mostly wild and native plants. some perennial flowers. Some are 3-4 " tall, some are crowded, when can we put them in the ground?

Hi Gary,
Great to hear you have had success! I personally like to separate the perennials and pot them into containers for a month so they get a little bigger, and then plant in their final destination, but that's a personal preference. You can plant in the ground too.

So far I am pleased with everything I have looked at.; Remy - all I can say is "thank you". The packets you sell have just enough (and more) seeds than I can plant. I put in a garden every year and I try to grow enough for myself to can/freeze and for the kids when they drop by. They all have families and often help me when they can. That said, nothing ever goes to waste since I have chickens, ducks, and turkeys who are more than happy to take any leftovers! Thanks again for being here.; Replied on: 3:08pm 04-26-2019

I'm sorry that you were very disappointed. We do explain on the Information page that we ask everyone to read before ordering "~Seed packets do not have growing instructions. Pre-printed packets cost a lot more, and we want to keep costs low. Salvia roemeriana aka ‘Hot Trumpets’ Salvia aka Cedar Sage Z8 SalRoe
This short, no more than a foot tall, plant has bold bright red flowers. To see photos Click Here. It is native to Texas and from what I’ve read, it likes shade down there, in fact the shade of cedar trees hence the nickname Cedar Sage. Up north it probably would be best for part sun and maybe even full sun. Hummingbird attractor. 25 seeds for $1.50.
