Hi Remy...
I just wanted to thank you for your understanding, great service, great prices, fast shipping, generosity and everything else after my little problem with PayPal. I loved having the opportunity to buy many new to me varieties of tomato seeds at great prices that I otherwise would not have been willing to try. I love your descriptions and pics, and I keep coming back to soak it all up, and it's all I can do to resist my tempation to order more.
Your site is such eye candy for gardeners like me and just so much fun to visit!!! Thanks for everything. Linda

Thanks Linda! I do have an interest in the dwarf tomatoes. They are quite popular with the customers. I'll keep an eye out for the peppers.

I like the idea of small amounts of seeds at a cheaper price. I am compelled to plant whatever is in the packet, and then I curse myself two onths later.

how about Datil pepper & Heritage Big Jim/ Heritage Sandia peppers? Hot weather varieties identified as such?
Hi I just talked with you re Red Barn. I was glad to see Prescott tomato.
It looks a lot like Nichols and Porter. I suspect they have common ancestry down in the desert.
The Datil pepper you may have heard of. It is a true heirloom going back to at least the 1700s that has survived only by seed savers. The Chile Pepper Inst has intervened to preserve it & they are available thru them but I would love to see them made more available. It is an elongated Habanero type that does well in containers. Hot, humid weather & pepper wevil doesn't seem to bother them.
Also the Chile Pepper Inst has those Heritage New Mex varieties that they have re-selected for flavor as opposed to size, shelf-life & color. Evidently the flavor is much better. But having said all that, your selection & prices are very fine!

Hi Mike,
It was nice talking to you. You are probably correct about Prescott.
I will keep an eye out for the pepper seeds. I seem to be getting a lot of requests for them. I might have Datil pepper seeds in my stash. If I do, I'll give them a try this year.

Looks good to me
Several times when I was making my selections the screen info disappered and left only the picture of the tomato and vine. Then I couldn't get to my cart to see if the order had taken or not. Definatley there isa problem there. I'm using Internet Explorer.

Tomatoes
Hey Remy, are you planning any classes or anything like that this year? My tomatoes are usually OK, but my peppers are never good, and I would love to hear what you have to say on the subject.
Replied on: 12:06pm 01-29-2012

Hi Brenda!
No, no classes this year. I did one last year, but time wise nothing was good for late winter this semester.
Are you growing your peppers in the ground or pots?
I recommend pots. Pots that are about 12" tall work good. I use potting soil like ProMix or Baccto Professional Growers Mix(Michigan Peat). Then I add granular vegetable fertilizer like Eposoma's. I save the pots and soil. Every year, I dump out the soil, mix in more fertilizer and re-pot.
Hope that helps,
Remy

I recieved great service even though 2 of my items were out of stock. Thanks for the extra seeds and the refund. I appreciate your prices but one thing I miss is having a seed packet with the plant description and planting instructions.
Replied on: 10:17am 01-17-2012

Hi Julie,
I'm glad you were happy with the service!
I know some customers miss info on the packets, but it would make everything rise in cost so much especially being a small retailer. Printed items when purchased in smaller quantities are quite expensive. Who knows maybe in the future, we will be big enough to be able to absorb that cost.
